Shopping online with Queenie's is as safe as shopping in an actual store. This site uses SSL technology, industry standard encryption, to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your credit card information under our control. In the same way department stores use EFTPOS terminals to process credit card transactions, Queenie's uses the same system via the EFTPOS terminal at the store.

Once Queenie's has processed a transaction against a credit card number, we do not store the card number for further use. That's why when processing further orders, we need you to enter the details once again.

In order to fulfill an order you may place via our website, it is necessary for us to collect certain information from you. The type of customer information we ask for includes name and address for billing and delivery purposes, day phone number, and email address.
Queenie's Traditional Tea House takes seriously the issue of our customer's privacy, and has taken the appropriate measures to ensure with confidence that any information given to us by our customers is protected. We recognise the sensitivity of your personal information and will never share your details with any other organisation.

Queenie's Traditional Tea House has a free Newsletter program. Unlike many other sites, a customer is not required to become a member in order to purchase from our website. We collect and store customer information simply to keep you informed of any new developments, product updates, special Queenie's events and information that will help you make your tea drinking experience that little bit better

Queenie's now offers the following ways to order and pay for products outside of the store.

On The Website

Whether just window-shopping or looking for something in particular, we have made browsing, searching and selecting items hassle free for our customers. Once you've found something you think you might want to purchase, just click 'add to basket'. Your shopping basket will stay with you while browsing our store, displaying the content and a running total while you shop.

We devised 4 quick steps to make purchasing online with Queenie's easy.
1. Your Order - can be adjusted anytime while you shop, just click on the shopping basket icon or the checkout button. When you're ready to purchase, just proceed to step 2.
2. Address Details - ensure that you have both your billing and delivery address details on hand. If you supply an email address, a receipt will be sent to your inbox.
3. Delivery Options - charges for packaging and delivery within Australia have a set fee of $4.50 and we currently use Australia Post.
4. Payment - ensure that you have your credit card handy to enter your card number and expiry date, which are required so that we can process your payment by hand once your order is received by our staff and have picked and packed the items you have selected..

A Receipt - once your card has been approved, a receipt will be printed and placed in your package. Within 24 hours, you will also receive an e-mail confirming that your order is complete, paid for, and posted. We may hold your order for a couple of days in case we are awaiting one of your order items to arrive in stock.

Mail Order and Telephone Order

Queenie's Mail Order staff can help you with any pre-purchase enquires you may have, as well as take an order and arrange payment by credit card or cheque if you prefer. Any teas that you are looking for not listed in our range may be available, and we welcome your enquiry. We will endeavour to locate it for you.

Please be sure to include the following if faxing or mailing your order:

• Name, brand, quantity, colour, size for each product.
• Your name and address
• Your daytime phone number

We have a 'TEA LIST and ORDER FORM' that can be posted to you by contacting the Tea House and requesting one.

Delivery is by Australia Post's parcel service during normal business hours. Upon delivery the goods must be signed for, if there is no one at the location at the time of delivery the parcel will be taken to your local post office for you to collect and a card will be left advising you of this.

Return of Goods Purchased from Queenie's:

Due to the nature of the (tea) product, Queenie's will accept returns only for non-consumable, faulty items. Queenie's Traditional Tea House replaces any goods that arrive at their destination faulty as long as we receive a call within 4 days of purchase of the product and is returned in its original packaging within 4 days of receiving it. Delivery and handling charges on returns are not refundable, and are to be returned to the store at the customer's cost and risk. Freight for replacement goods will be paid by Queenie's.

In order to process your return of goods, please be sure to contacting us first with the following information:

• Copy of the packing slip and receipt, including the order number.
• The reason for the return
• Your day time phone number

A staff member will be required to contact you to arrange a refund if the store is unable to replace or exchange the goods returned. We can process a refund by re-imbursing your credit card, or by posting a cheque.
