Tea Stands & Meals

All tea stands are designed and set for one person.

Low Tea – ideal morning or afternoon tea. $35p.p.
Two dainty tea house sandwiches, traditional scone with jam and cream, and from our pastry chef cake and sweet treats presented on your own 3 tier stand.
Includes a pot of tea or coffee.

‘Low Tea’ was traditionally a morning or afternoon tea taken at the ‘low’ table in the parlour. It contained tea sandwiches, scones, cake and biscuits.

High Tea – the tradition lives on in this meal. $45 p.p.
Enjoy your very own high tea with homemade sweet and savoury fare – including  tea house sandwiches, small serve of homemade soup, toast and butter along with an assortment of warm and cold savoury bites. 
For your enjoyment we have the top plate with a delicious warm pudding and a selection of sweet treats prepared for you by our pastry chef.  Includes a pot of tea or coffee.

‘High Tea’ was traditionally taken in the evening at the ‘high’ or kitchen table, and this is how it got its name. Because it was eaten in the early evening it contained more savoury than sweet foods.

Enjoy your very own low gluten stand designed with your dietary needs in mind.  Contains an assortment of savouries including a small serve of our homemade soup, toast and butter. For your enjoyment our pastry
chef has made warm pudding and a selection of delicious wheat & gluten free sweet treats just for you.

Littlie’s Tea Party – for the little miss or master $20.00 p.p.
Spotty teapot fairy bread, two little sandwiches, a bite-sized savoury, an iced cup cake, Gingerbread man biscuit, a slice and a piece of homemade confectionery.  Served with a flavoured milk or soft drink


Sunday Breakfast

No longer available. Open from 10am, we are still serving French Toast, Savoury Mince and Fruit & Nut Toast for your enjoyment.

2. Group Bookings (10 or more)

For groups of 10 or more, we have a 'Set Menu' policy which includes bottomless tea or coffee. Please telephone the Tea House on 3266 6632 for details and availability.
