1. REGULAR MENU:


Scones, Cakes and Sweet Treats

* denotes Wheat & Gluten free 

Traditional Scone made with butter and served with jam and cream. $5each

Date & Walnut Loaf just right with a pot of tea. $6.50

Trio of Treats Selection will vary; cup cake, biscuit, slice, tartlet, etc. $10 p.p.

*Lemon Tea Cake with tangy lemon butter. $11.50

*Strawberry Cheese Cake. Chocolate and coconut base with a strawberry and balsamic cheesecake. $11.50

Passionfruit Sponge – our signature cake!Filled with cream and topped with a tangy passionfruit icing. $11.50                             

*Sticky Date Pudding with home-made caramel sauce  $11.50
 (this pudding is dairy free with d/f sauce available on request)

*Chocolate Almond Cake with raspberry sauce. A rich, moist, delicious cake makes a welcome return. $11.50

Fruit ‘n’ Nut Toast. Studded with hazelnuts, figs and fruits, and served with mascarpone and honey.  $10.50

French Toast – Queenie’s style. Cream and egg drenched pieces of baguette, baked then stacked high. Served with strawberries, mascarpone and either maple syrup or mixed berry coulis. $16.50

Tea House Ribbon Sandwiches.                            
Served as an assorted selection. $12 per serve

Meals

*Ploughman’s Picnic Plate. Queenie’s take on the Ploughman’s lunch - Cold meat, cheese, pickles, egg and salad with a savoury scone and homemade relish. *also available with wheat &gluten free toast.  $25

*Fritters. Zucchini and ham fritters with homemade tomato relish and salad. $25

*Chicken Meat Loaf. With a ribbon of pistachio nuts wrapped in bacon and caramelised onions, served with a side salad. $25

Roasted vegetables on Brioche. Rich brioche base, Caramelised onions and toped oven roasted seasonal vegetables and dotted with feta cheese. eg. aubergine, sweet potato, zucchini, capsicum, butternut pumpkin. $25

 Medley of Roasted Vegetables. Seasonal vegetables oven roasted  baked in a rich Brioche pastry. Served with salad  $23

*Warm Salad. Green salad leaves, oven-roasted beetroot and sweet potato, caramelised onion and goat’s cheese.  Served with a Balsamic dressing. Comes with Grilled Chicken Tenders or Smoked Salmon $25

Tea Stands & Meals

All tea stands are designed and set for one person.

Low Tea – ideal morning or afternoon tea. $32p.p.
Two dainty tea house sandwiches, traditional scone with rose petal jam and cream.  From our pastry chef a cup cake and sweet treats presented on your own 3 tier stand. Includes a pot of tea or coffee.

‘Low Tea’ was traditionally a morning or afternoon tea taken at the ‘low’ table in the parlour. It contained tea sandwiches, scones, cake and biscuits.

High Tea – the tradition lives on in this meal. $42 p.p.
Enjoy your very own high tea stand with an assortment of bite size savoury items including a mini quiche, tea house sandwich, small salad, savoury scone with crème fresh and homemade relish. The top plate has a Champagne jelly and petite fours. Includes a pot of tea or coffee.

‘High Tea’ was traditionally taken in the evening at the ‘high’ or kitchen table, and this is how it got its name. Because it was eaten in the early evening it contained more savoury than sweet foods.

Contains an assortment of savouries and a selection of delicious wheat & gluten free sweet treats from the pastry cook. Includes a pot of tea or coffee.

Littlie’s Tea Party – for the little miss or master $17.00 p.p.
Spotty teapot fairy bread, two little sandwiches, a bite-sized savoury, a cup cake, Gingerbread man and chocolate brownie and coconut ice. Served with a flavoured milk or soft drink.

Ask our helpful staff to assist you in your choice.
Try one of our exquisite tea balls - "Buddha's Balls", "Dan Gui Bai He" or "Tai Mu Mountain Flower Balls". This is a real showpiece for the table, and a nice palate cleanser between courses and after the meal. You can also re-use the ball by topping up the pot with more hot water (you'll get 2 - 3 pots from the one ball.) All are available in store.
