Select from our wide range of delicious fresh cakes and biscuits and light luncheons. Queenie's specialises in Wheat and Gluten free foods. All our food is made on site from the very finest ingredients.

The desire to create Queenie’s came from a need to find ‘a nice place to go’. Where getting together was supported with lovely tea and delicious home cooked food. Where people cared about making a pot of tea and how it was served. Queenie’s is that place.

Our trained staff are here to assist you with your choice of tea to best compliment your food, the time of day and your palate. Queenie's opened in Nundah in August 2002, and over the past 6 and 1/2 years we have served 1000s of pots of tea, countless scones, cakes, sandwiches, meals and ‘High Teas’. The introduction of 3 tier stands on our tables in 2002 certainly started a rush by many cafe owners to follow our lead. We hope with this it also brings a better standard of service, a sense of style and continues to improve the eating out experience for everyone.

 Con and Julie are married and have 4 children. Julie has always had a customer service philosophy through various careers including nursing, legal office work, and sales/managerial. Con has had many years in sales as well as in early education teaching. Both Con and Julie are proud to serve you at Queenie's, where you will enjoy a unique tea drinking experience at Brisbane's only authentic tea house.
